I apologize for the double comment but I was not paying attention to which
version of wine this was tested with and was surprisingly unaware of wine 1.1.0
as my system is out of commission. It is quite possible that wine 1.1.0 has
broken any support that it had for this app, though I would recommend seeing if
wine 1.0rc1 works as if it does not then it is a configuration issue on your
end.
