Hi, 

This or similar behaviour is observed in Ubuntu WINE 1.0.0-1ubuntu4~hardy1 and
default Ubuntu GNOME setup. By default, GNOME was configured with a panel (menu
bar) on top. This feature introduces offset in the viewport coordinates that
WINE ignores, so WINE calculates pointer coordinates wrongly. Moving the
application bar to the bottom solved the problem for me.
