Its Icewind Dale with Heart of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster.  I did
regression back to a working version and still crashed out.  I think it might
be video card drivers related...as Diablo II started crashing with the video
drivers.  My video card is Nvidia 8800GTX I'm using Nvidia proprietary drivers
