The patch needs to be updated.

I've never tried pixia but I know for certain that pressure sensitivity works
for openCanvas 4.5e with wacom tablets.  If you have a non wacom tablet see
bugs  11699 or 12005.

Broke what, your compiler? (you need to reinstall the dev packages, see the
wiki) or Wine(explain in detail about what's broken).
