I don't know why I didn't notice this before, but one of the disappearing menu
options, "Provincial Campaign", should never have even been there in the first
place.  That menu option only appears if you install a mod of some kind, I
believe, and I have a completely fresh, unmodified installation.

I checked this by doing a completely clean install of the game on Windows, and
there was no "Provincial Campaign" option there.
