It seems the uninstall didn't work properly for me. So I wasn't able to
reinstall in the same way, but got various errors. Very erratic behaviour... 

I really cannot tell what was the cause, because I wasn't able to repeat
exactly the same steps. And now it's getting too late here for more fighting
with bugs.
