I can confirm it too (on Wine 0.9.57, Fedora Core 8).

When I've removed the Wine directory (i mean ~./wine) app doesn't start at all.
I believe it's because I've overrided some DLL's, but can't remember which
ones...

This line can be interesting:

fixme:win:RegisterRawInputDevices (pRawInputDevices=0x33f450, uiNumDevices=1,
cbSize=12) stub!
