Dan Kegel apparently narrowed down the possible cause of bug 8549 just by
looking at the specific GUID involved.  If that approach is valid here, then a
search for the GUID referenced in this bug
(b5f8350b-0548-48b1-a6ee-88bd00b4a5e7) leads me to this article:

Does that mean this particular bug is caused by some type of dependency on the
.NET 3.0 framework?
