Hey I found out this isn't a Wine problem, but a security enhancement in kernel
2.6.24-16 that prevents Wine from running 16-bit apps.

Since this can be reversed by running as root:

sysctl -w vm.mmap_min_addr=0

then this bug is either invalid, or should be solved jointly with the Linux
kernel team.
