Similar if not quite identical bug in Acrobat Pro 7.

Attempting to create a pdf from a .doc file pops up the msgbox:

    Unable to find "Adobe PDF" resource files.

    Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?

clicking OK causes the msgbox to go away, but then nothing happens.
