This starts just fine for me when i follow the howto from appdb:

wget http://www.uv.tietgen.dk/Staff/Mlha/Download/WIN/microsoft/scripten.exe &&
wine scripten.exe


wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks && sh winetricks vbrun6

Start the installer , and disable the install of "MicroSoft Script Engine 5.6"
(otherwise the installer fails to download that for me)
