[Bug 11805] WMP stops playback after few seconds

For me in git, plays fine for a couple seconds, then starts to stutter. At
about 4 seconds, hangs, then picks up at 7 (console shows a crash, then my
console reverts to a WEIRD encoding). I'll attach the output.
