[Bug 9771] Steam Friends doesn't work (fails to render correctly or refresh)

Ok, so we know that this problem is a graphical issue. But there is no
debugging logs here, exept the winsock trace. But thats for the messages, and
we already know that they gets receved, but wont display.
The only way to solve this bug is to analyze what is causing this. There must
be some way to debug this, right?

This is as far as i got: If i disable all opinions in friends, a new frame will
pop-up if i receve any message, i must then open,minimize and open the frame
again to get the window to show. But from there on i need to trigger some event
to refresh the window.
