I've just installed the demo and reproduced the bug with this one.

To reproduce the bug:
* Start reason (demo)
* press play (on the bottom of interface) [you may have to select a soundcard
first, if you can't hear a sound. You can do so in the preferences dialog (i
can access the menu by pressing ALT and DOWN ARROW)]
* when the song is playing, go crazy with the interface. Just scroll and click
around, open and close instruments (on those little triangles on the left of
the instruments in the rack), scroll through the sequencer on the bottom, open
clips (double click on those colorful rectangles in the sequencer)... you get
the idea.
* at some point (on my system that's after about two or three minutes), the
interface stops working, but the sound keeps playing. You have to kill reason
by force now, as you can't access the interface anymore).

I hope, that helps.
Here are some specifications concerning my system:
Linux ubuntu 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Wed Aug 20 22:56:21 UTC 2008 i686
GNU/Linux
/etc/issue: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Gnome version 2.22.3
Wine 1.1.5

Thank you for your time. It would help me a lot, if this bug would be fixed.
