I just wanted to report that I have two (out of two) systems where this is
happening.

I've mitigated *temporarily* by enabling "emulate a virtual desktop" and
setting it to the full resolution of my display.  However this is in no way the
expected or sensible behaviour.

It's worth noting that on one of them, even with the virtual desktop enabled
and set to the full resolution, the emulated area begins just below the gnome
panel.  There may or may not be an additional concern at hand there, but I will
take a closer look at the issue after work today (it may be compiz related).

Anyway, this is just my note to support the popular vote.  I can also confirm
that this happened between the two patches that this version of WINE has been
available for.  So it's definitely WINE.
