I have tried to take a screen shot with GIMP, but it won't let me
capture it.  But, since you are reproducing the same thing I am seeing,
I am wondering if that is sufficient?

What happens is that the dialog windows that pop up will freeze and within 30
seconds or so, the whole application dies (disappears).

If you still need a screen shot, I will try and force something.
