I have tested it with Wine 1.1.6.

I have done a fresh install of the game, and then updated it to 1.4. Then, I
updated it to 1.4.1.

The first time I run the game, it worked, although there was no progress bar
when loading but the black and dark blue screen mentioned in the previous
comment. Anyway, the game loaded and it could be played.

However, after exiting and running the game for a second time, it crashed as
already explained. I have removed the user data for the game and run it again,
but it also crashed.
