The "most recent crash 28 July 2008" file contains the key line
wine: Call from 0x7b844dd0 to unimplemented function
gdiplus.dll.GdipSetClipPath, aborting
That problem should be fixed in wine-1.1.6, see
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-cvs/2008-September/048019.html

Can you retest with wine-1.1.6?
