I'm using xfwm4 (XFCE 4 Window Manager).

And you're right, I should've tried it first: When I am using a virtual
desktop, the keyboard focus works fine.

On a side note, the game works *way* too slow, I type now, and it appears after
5 secs+

It works fine on the same machine from windows xp. I hate logging in windows
though :/

Any suggestions to enable any specific flags/settings for this app?
