bisection in progress. It will take a few days for the results to be available,
as I'm short on time and have a lot of ground to cover (over 1800 commits).
Also, the pc I'm running this on is not the fastest I have: 50 minutes for a
full recompile, and ccache isn't helping (90% cache misses on the first four
runs).
