i dont want to make any statements i cant proove, byt mass effect uses one of
the best game engines currently available (unreal engine 3), making that work
well will indicate that probably one of the most advanced engines out there
works well, games like bioshock ( it has a demo), gears of war etc. use that
engine, cant say how bioshock behaves as i didnt tried it, but its worth to
check of someone has time.
