Checked on real XP with your test db: 

Right click -> nothing
Left click -> popup menu
left dbl click -> maximize

This is the same here as under wine (except the contents of the menu is a bit
different). What I do see is that after a right click the mouse stays captured,
and cannot be used anywhere in the program. Switching to another window and
back again restores the mouse.
