Confirming with wine 1.1.26. Although I probably wouldn't call it Total
three-eyed mutant fridge fungus ;)

Steps to reproduce:
The plugin needs the GIF Construction Set Professional 3, which can be
downloaded for free from http://www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/gifcon.html
During installation it will complain about missing MSVCP60.dll which can be
worked around by installing vcrun6 through winetricks. Then the plugin can be
installed.
GSCP starts fine. The 3D effects from the plugin are shown in the "Edit" menu.
Choosing one of them will open a new window. After clicking OK, the app starts
rendering and will eventually crash. The only terminal output is:

X Error of failed request:  GLXBadDrawable
