I just noticed, that my Laptop doesn't have the same problem as the
Workstation. It does map msgothic.ttc without a problem, which leaves me
scratching my head.

This reminds me of a bug I haven't reported yet for Guild Wars, whereas the
Workstation cuts all fonts at the top, IF Japanese is selected as the main
language. Yet again, the Laptop does not have the same problem.

I'll do the same checks on EVE, which I did on Guild Wars (clean ~/.wine,
reinstall wine, reinstall OS, etc), just to make sure it isn't a configuration
problem.
