Hi, no such problem here. Installs and plays fine under 1.1.34 and also current
git (wine-1.1.34-588-g6b78e24). Well you need crack because this game uses
SafeDisc (version is not obtainable, but should be v2.90) and it crashes when
running with orig CD in drive (without CD it says please insert a playdisc).

1. So be sure you are using latest Simcity's version 1.1.638.0

2. Use proper crack for your version

3. Check your executable name is "SimCity 4.exe" (crashes if different even on
WinXP)

I install this game quite often and never had such problem with installation or
running (using 32bit OS & wine).
