OK I just read back thru this and forgot to mention I did what was sugested and
installed a package from wine tricks so I managed to get past the error 'fatal
exception on initialization: Invalid property XML format'

Now I simply cannot connect to the server. Someone sugested I use schannel or
something last time but not sure how to add that to wine or even if it is the
right thing to do. This is the same point I got stuck at with the previous
version and any help would be appreciated. Running VT Trader through virtual
box is too slow.
