[Bug 15036] 'Gift' game crash with a D3D/OpenGL error

Just tested with 1.1.15:
- display is still reduced to a small part of the screen
- The game does not crash !!

But:
- frame rate is very low
- 'detect.exe' fails (error about EnumDisplayDevicesW)

Moreover I ran the game in an other resolution (1280x800 - native) and the
display was fullscreen! But unplayable because slow.
