Did some more testing and kind of got midi working.

First i installed timidity and followed the instructions at
http://frankscorner.org/index.php?p=mid

This makes midi audio appear as long as alsa is chosen as sound option in wine.

The problem however is that the resulting audio is so full of stuttering that
it's really uncomfortable to listen on. Unsure if this is a wine issue or if
there is some setting in timidity that could fix this.
