Possible, but you first have to prove it to be a duplicate. What makes it worse
is that by only closing bug reports you are only ignoring bugs, but you have
not found them nor have you fixed them.

I have my own software and bugs to work on. So I cannot do any more regression
testing than to test it with two different releases.

Why do you not do the regression test?
