There seems to be a lot of trouble on Windows too with this recent update. I
spotted a thread on 2+2 were the update is discussed (18 pages!);

There is a fresh installer out (did a diff against the one i downloaded
yesterday), but alas it still triggers the same error in Wine.

Maybe it might be wise to wait a little until the client is more stable?
