Depends on what the original reporter means by installation failing.  IMO,
failing to download all the requisite files and the installation application
abruptly exiting counts.  This would cover both the problems described for Wine
version 1.1.21 and 1.1.23.  If however it was some other more severe failure,
like not even getting to the point where it begins to download files that's a
different story and one that appears to already be corrected.

Either way, reverting that one commit referenced in the other bug report and
using the pre-built referenced packages results in a fully functioning
installation and download of all files.
