This seems to have worked for me. I built an old version of Wine (1.1.24)
against it, and at least one 16-bit app launched, but it was a bit flaky.
Mostly errors regarding FreeType not being found, but there was one other
crash:

err:module:DelayLoadFailureHook failed to delay load
setupapi.dll.InstallHinfSectionW
wine: Call from 0x7b8320d7 to unimplemented function
setupapi.dll.InstallHinfSectionW, aborting
wine: Unimplemented function setupapi.dll.InstallHinfSectionW called at address
0x7b8320d7 (thread 000b), starting debugger...

Built it against the MacPorts version (1.1.26), but it seems there's a check in
there now to prevent me from running 16-bit applications when I "can't".
