The installer log looks normal. Please try this and report
the outcome:

$ cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Microsoft\ Office/Office12/
$ wine Wordconv.exe
$ wine excelcnv.exe
$ wine PPCNVCOM.EXE
