Well I though older games should work better than the latest ones.

However, it is not available for free although it is old.

Ok, now serious:
I can do the tests for you. Just advice me.

Installing directx9 with ./winetricks d3dx9 did not change the situation.

It also seems to be a DirectX7 game.
