Unfortunately, it seems to be an ATI [drivers] issue.
It should be probably reported to AMD, not Wine.
Works fine with Wine 1.1.x on wide range of NVIDIA cards and drivers
(specifically 6100 and 6150 onboard cards, 6600 GT, 7850 and 8800 GTS 512 are
tested).

If Wine doesn't contain any NVIDIA-specific hacks (those are very unlikely to
appear in Wine, but maybe wined3d developers can comment on this?), this bug
should be closed.
