[Bug 9027] No sound for rise of nations - all versions

At first, I am unable to install the demo with clean ~/.wine dir.  It pops up
message box:

> Setup was unable to find (or could not read) the language specific setup 
> resource dll, unable to continue.  Please reboot and try again.

If I set Wine version to win98, setup is going OK.  How any of other testers
managed to install the Trial?

And then I can hear sounds of the installer, but not during the game.
