It's not happening randomly for me on my nVidia card. It happens completely
repeatably at the character selection screen (presumably the common thing here
is that it's happening whenever it's trying to render a character; for me, my
existing character, for you, a character in the character creator).

I don't see anyone else in this thread saying that the error is random.
