Ken,

I am not sure why the link works for me and not for you. I have had issues in
the past with links that I.E. would truncate, rendering them dead. So I am
shortening the link and maybe that will help.

if that does not work, try this one.

The registration code will not be needed until the end. The error will appear
before then.

If you use the installer, it will just tell you that the installations was
interupted. Using the terminal will give the needed error message.

Also, using a program called installrite, I was able to get a little farther in
the process. Installrite monitors the installation of a piece of software and
can create new install complete with needed directories and registry entries.
(on a windows system). Using that I was able to get all of the files and reg
settings, but I had issues with the process that actually communicates with
Thermwoods server for registration and upgrades. Just another bump in the road
that I think has been resolved.

I forgot to mention that when I first started this, I was on a new system.
(Ubuntu and wine was the only software on my system)
eCabinets is my main piece of software that I use so it made sense to me that
it would be the first one to load. I assume that this would also give me a
fresh wineprefix. I did have to load a few winetricks to get as far as I did.

My system is now a dual boot with Vista and Ubuntu on it. I also have about 14
other pieces of software that I have loaded since about Febuary. A few cad's,
some games, and a few relational DB programs that are for work (just playing
around to see if they will run on linux systems)(btw, they do with wine).

Please let me know if you still have problems with the link.

Thanks again.

John
