I'm using Version 1.1.20 of Darwine, so this may not apply; feel free to let me
know if I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Following the typical steps outlined in comment #4, I get this in my console
output:
wine: created the configuration directory '/Users/charrington/.wine'
err:module:DelayLoadFailureHook failed to delay load
setupapi.dll.InstallHinfSectionW
wine: Call from 0x7b8320b7 to unimplemented function
setupapi.dll.InstallHinfSectionW, aborting
wine: Unimplemented function setupapi.dll.InstallHinfSectionW called at address
0x7b8320b7 (thread 000b), starting debugger...
err:process:__wine_kernel_init boot event wait timed out
