Let me rephrase my second sentence.

When wine 1.1.12 was released the login worked with NAVIGON Fresh (Version
1.4.9). Trying it today with wine 1.1.12 it does not work any longer. Therefore
it might be a change at the navigon server site.

The other two difference i can think of: I'm running now debian lenny instead
of etch. The .wine directory was deleted and recreated.
