The issue seems to occur when the mouse reaches the edge of the screen, but as
I understand it the mouse should either stay centered while moving OR should
keep turning when it reaches the edge. There is a known problem with the screen
edge detection of Compiz with fullscreen apps, because it places 1 pixel
transparent windows on the screen borders that stay above fullscreen games.

However, I'm using KDE/Kwin, which I don't think has this behavior. I'll try to
look into it further.
