Your best bet is to follow the instructions from the "How to get Battle.net
working?" section that is on the war3ft appdb page. That includes the save
patch, along with other patches to get battlenet working. Make sure you do the
apt-get build-dep wine command so that it will compile correctly. It shouldn't
crash at all after that.
