The patches only work at Linux at the moment, I'm afraid.  There is apparently
some support for IrDA in Leopard and newer MacOS via the AppleUSBIrDA driver,
but I don't know how to program it (and I don't have a Mac, so I won't be of
use to you here.)

Wine version 1.1.33 already incorporates these patches, so you don't need to
add them to Wine.
