Same problem: Nothing happens after the splash screen.

increasing load doesn't work whatsoever. Not at all. It doesn't affect the
outcome. I haven't seen it work at all since I reinstalled it.

It's a dualcore system. Is this issue exclusive to multiprocessor systems?

Application Data, Local Settings and Cache folders have all been emptied.

The only thing that I didn't try was to change GROUP_SCHED. Maybe if I get
around updating the kernel...

# CONFIG_GROUP_SCHED is not set
