For the record, I'd like to point out that this bug, as currently described, is
*not* a duplicate of bug 9320 -- my analysis (comment #26) which resulted in my
renaming to a duplicate of bug 9320 was corrected and reverted in comment #33. 
This confusion is precisely why I opened bug 20416, which unfortunately did not
survive very long!

As far as I can tell the bug I reported has been fixed, which is why my
analysis fell back to the old bug.  I've updated the status accordingly.
