Obviously, this isn't about adding a work around to make iexplore work on these
pages. It's about finding if anything is really going on, this could very well
be broken/unsafe code.
If there is no real bug behind this, I'll leave it as invalid; that's why I
didn't reopen yet. If I can find what's happening, I'll reopen.
