You DO NOT KNOW what you're talking about.  (See how shouting in caps comes
across?)

If you looked at the videos, I proved that it does not work for me in CSS,
though it works in HL2.  You apparently didn't read my entire message.

Unlike you, I *CAN* test my microphone in Steam (and HL2).  You appear to have
a problem opposite of the one I'm reporting.

This is obviously *NOT* a pulseaudio bug.  PA, were it installed, would not
prevent the microphone button from even sticking down (as seen in the video) in
one game and not in another.

Just because things are working for you (as they do on my other test machine)
doesn't mean a bug report is invalid.
