Summary: screen size is confused by program
           Product: Wine
           Version: 1.1.29
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: -unknown
        AssignedTo: wine-bugs at winehq.org
        ReportedBy: cnbiz850 at sohu.com

A program that is preferred to run with full screen. After I first installed
it, that is what it did -- popped up full screen (maximized) -- on the first
run. Then subsequently it did in the same way. However lately, I hit somehow
"normalize/maximize" (at the upper-right corner of the program window). Then
the window shrank to about a quarter of the screen, which is not necessarily a
wrong behavior. What is wrong is when I hit "normalize/maximize" again, which
is supposed to maximize the window, the window get enlarged by just a few
pixels instead. Hit "normalize/maximize" again shrinks the window by the same
few pixels, again then enlarged by the few pixels. It is stuck at that rough
size. I can't even drag the edge of the window to enlarge/shrink it further.
At next startup, it goes to the previous small size and can not really be
resized. The only way (seems to me) that can change it back to normal is by
going through "winecfg" unchecking "allow window manager to control it",
running it and bringing it to full size, then closing it down, bringing up
"winecfg" again and re-checking the "allow window manager to control it". The
next and subsequent runs it will go to full size -- until the
"normalize/maximize" is hit again.
