I think that's fine for normal operation.
The limit of 1024 was set back when computers had 100
times less memory.  It's about time it was raised.

Perhaps you could add that tip to the appdb.

I'm going to mark this INVALID because it's probably not a bug
in wine, just a fact of life when running large applications.
If it turns out Wine is leaking filehandles, or this affects
a large number of applications, we can look into it again.
