Tested against latest WINE version 1.1.42

System: Duo Core 2.4 GHz
        3 GB RAM
        Ubuntu 9.10
        Intel 4500M Graphics
        Intel x.org driver 2.10
        Mesa3D 7.7.1
        Linux kernel 2.32.9

There is no more crash on NFS Carbon (Demo) with this patch applied.

The game is in nice working condition.

Thank you very very much for your great work.

This is a surprise how only two line of code ( I mean patch ) turned a game
from death to alive.

Is there any possibility of this patch to mainline WINE tree?
